Arash Maleki, MD

Dr. Arash Maleki is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 20 years of experience.
Dr. Maleki received his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in Medical Retina and Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Iran University of Medical Science. He further completed an Ocular Immunology and Uveitis fellowship program at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution.
Prior to joining Aran Eye Associates, Dr. Maleki was an assistant professor of medicine in the Department of Ophthalmology within the University of Florida College of Medicine. He proudly served as an associate at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution before joining the faculty of the UF Department of Ophthalmology.
Before moving to the United States, Dr. Maleki was a staff physician specializing as a vitreoretinal surgeon and ocular immunologist at the Noor Eye Hospital in Tehran, Iran. Dr. Maleki was a visiting scholar at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, furthering his research in uveitis, ocular ultrasound, and medical retina.
Dr. Maleki is board certified in Ophthalmology and Ocular Surgery from the Iran University of Medical Sciences. He obtained his United States medical license through the Federation of State Medical Boards. Dr. Maleki has publications in both peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
