Raul Masvidal, M.D.

Dr. Masvidal is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He completed one residency on internal medicine at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and a second residency in ophthalmology at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He was chief resident at King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Masvidal attained his doctor of medicine and surgery degree from University of Costa Rica, San Jose, Costa Rica. Dr. Masvidal established his own ophthalmology practice in 1984 and merged his office with Aran Eye Associates in 2014.
Dr. Masvidal graduated from the medical school of The University of Costa Rica and trained in Internal Medicine at Franklyn Square Hospital in Baltimore. He did ophthalmology at State University of New York, Downstate in Brooklyn.
For over 30 years he has provided eye care to South Florida, specializing in comprehensive and anterior segment, cataracts, and glaucoma.
